How do the external and internal examiners give marks for project work....................Unfortunate thing ids that my group of 4 members got screwed from the examiners .............Will they give marks or be strict in giving marks?

The 8th semester is the first major project for the VTU students, hence lot of effort is usually put to make sure the work done by the candidate is geneuine. The report created is elaborate and the demo is impressive. But, still lots depends on the impression of the candidate through out his engineering academic career during marks allocation as usually it is influenced by the internal examiner present. Things might vary from college to college.

i have just written my 8th sem exams.i did well 3 subjects but last was a bit tough.i am not sure of getting 35 though i have attempted 75 marks.is correction loose for final semester?will they pass?

 Well, we can't claim that correction is loose/lenient during 8th semester correction but can surely say that the passing percentage is higher. You don need to worry if you have attempted 75 marks correctly. Ideally you should clear. All the best!
